Thinnley and co had planned a wonderful itinerary for us. They were very communicative through the planning and when the trip had to be cancelled due to COVID they were quick to refund the full booking. Looking forward to rebooking with them once the pandemic ends.

Thanks for an amazing trip to Bhutan!

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend 3 days in Bhutan since we were coming to India for a wedding, so I reached out to several tour companies who would be willing to work with us for a short private tour. I reached out to several companies, and I found Thinley with Bhutan Best Inbound Tour to be the most responsive and flexible during the booking process. Thinley allowed me to pick and choose the 4-star hotel option I wanted (we upgraded to 4-star hotels) for a flat fee. Other companies gave me different prices for different 4-star hotels, so I found that I got more value as another company wanted more for the upgrade to the same 4-star hotel.

To pay, we had to do an international money transfer for avoid some serious credit card fees ($100+ for our tour), and Thinley was very patient with us, as this process took a while. We did a test transfer first since we didn’t want to risk losing a large amount of money into an international banking black hole, and that took about a week to arrive, so we were worried that we weren’t going to submit our payment in time, as our plane tickets were about to be released. Thinley offered to pay for our tickets while we finished our entire payment, which we really appreciated, as the company was willing to foot our very expensive plane tickets for us while they awaited the rest of our payment.

When we were in Bhutan, we really got the VIP treatment. Our guide, Dorje, was wonderful and incredibly accommodating, and our driver was also nice and always showed up right on time. When we provided feedback after the first day that we wanted to stick to our original itinerary (I had expressed concern that we might be missing sites based on the original itinerary sent to me), Dorje immediately remedied the situation. Thinley also called us and apologized for not meeting us in person, which is way more than was necessary. She gave us some prayer flags and parting gifts, which really went above and beyond my expectations.

We had a lovely time in Bhutan thanks to the Bhutan Beat Inbound team, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to visit Bhutan :)

Our 9-day tour of Bhutan was an exceptional experience, thanks in large part to Bhutan Best Inbound. There are lots of tour companies operating and the prices don’t vary much, so the difference comes in service and quality, and I think Inbound really understands that. We had done some initial planning with a different tour company and decided to dump them after they got pushy about sending a deposit before the plan was final and pressuring us to go with upgrades and more expensive flights. Inbound, however, was super responsive and very helpful from the start, with no pressure, offering several tour choices that fit our timeframe and interests. Thinley answered all our questions very quickly and helped us design a customized tour based on our interests. I’d say we lucked out with no trip disruptions and perfect weather (true), but we really hit the jackpot with our guide and driver, Phurba and Chencho. What a combo! Phurba was incredibly knowledgeable about Bhutan and Buddhism, and showed genuine enthusiasm and pride introducing us to his people and culture. He was constantly checking in with us to make sure we were happy and enjoying, and accommodated all our requests immediately. Chencho was much more than a driver—an expert on culture, politics, music, and even archery. We enjoyed the car conversations with them as much as the incredible landscape, fortresses and temples. They worked together to plan the order of each day’s stops and were quick to suggest alternatives when landslides (just one!) and closed venues disrupted the plan. They were so friendly and welcoming and really made the experience so smooth and comfortable for us. Thanks, guys!  All the other hotels were good to excellent. We were lucky enough to meet Thinley and Geeta before we departed Bhutan to express our thanks in person; they are wonderful, kind people. Thank you, Bhutan Inbound, for a memorable experience!

Amazing Experience with Best in Class Company

Our first trip to Bhutan was this 11 day adventure traveling from east to west. What an amazing country. I'm so happy we chose Bhutan Inbound as our tour company. Thinley was very responsive and trustworthy with all my requests while planning our trip. They exceeded our expectations with extra special gifts and over the top kindness. Our guide and driver were very professional, knowledgeable and accommodated all our daily crazy requests. I think we my be friends for life :)
